The ADG Alumni Advisory Board and the LMU Alumni Association cordially invites you and your family to attend the ADG Laetare Sunday Mass and ADG Man of the Year Brunch.

The 2014 ADG Man of the Year is Kenneth McKenzie ’59

Ken graduated from Loyola in 1959 majoring in Business Administration.  While in college he served as secretary for ADG, President of Crimson Circle, he was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society, and a member of the Loyola U. Varsity Baseball team.
Following graduation, Ken entered the Air Force, along with fellow alumnus and ADG brother Mike Morgan ’59.  He served 5 ½ years in the Air Force Reserve in the capacity as medic.  After completing his military commitment, Ken sought out his career opportunities, finally settling down for twenty-three years with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Development, focusing on developing shopping center complexes.

He then took his real estate knowledge and opened his own real estate development/brokerage company, Pima Partners Development that he maintains today.
In the last several years, Ken has been challenged with battling esophageal cancer. Through faith and the grace of God, the esophageal cancer is in a state of remission.  However, as one cancer healed another one surfaced.  Ken recently has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, yet another hurdle to battle and overcome. Given all his challenges, nothing keeps this ADG down.

Ken has been married to his wife of 50 years, Yolanda “Yoli” Villar, and through God’s grace and love was blessed with three children, Maureen, Christine and Daniel.”
